Frequently Asked questions

Got Questions?
We’ve Got Answers

We know leaving your dog in someone else’s care is a big decision, and it’s natural to have a few questions. Below you’ll find answers to some of the things we’re most often asked—from how bookings work to what your dog will need during their stay.

What makes your dog care services different?

We're a small, family-run business with a genuine love for dogs. We pride ourselves on offering personalised care, getting to know each dog as an individual. Set in the heart of the countryside, our walks are safe, stimulating, and tailored to suit your dog’s unique personality and needs.

What kinds of dogs do you care for?

All sorts! We have experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments—from lively pups to older dogs who enjoy a slower pace. Every dog is welcome and treated like one of our own.

Where do the dogs go for walks?

We’re lucky to be surrounded by beautiful countryside, with peaceful trails, fields, and woodlands. It’s the perfect setting for dogs to explore, sniff, and enjoy the great outdoors in a safe environment.

Can my dog be walked off-leash?

We offer both. Some dogs thrive in the company of others, while some prefer one-on-one attention. We always consider your dog’s needs and personality when planning their walks.

Do you walk reactive or nervous dogs?

Yes! For nervous or reactive dogs, we recommend our solo walks, where they’ll receive one-on-one attention at their own pace.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We walk in most weather conditions, but in extreme weather (heatwaves, storms, or icy conditions), we may shorten or reschedule walks for safety.

Are you insured and trained in pet first aid?

Yes, absolutely. We’re fully insured and trained in canine first aid, so you can rest easy knowing your dog is in safe and capable hands.

What’s your cancellation policy?

We understand things can change. We simply ask for as much notice as possible so we can adjust the schedule. We’ll go through all the details during your initial consultation.
